Step into a classic Agatha Christie mystery with Black Coffee, a suspenseful whodunit filled with intrigue, secrets, and unforgettable characters. Directed by Ayden Lopez, this production invites performers of all experience levels to audition for a timeless story featuring the legendary detective Hercule Poirot.

🕵️♂️ About the Play
Accomplished physicist Sir Claud Amory has developed a groundbreaking scientific formula—one powerful enough to change the world. When the formula is stolen and Sir Claud is suddenly murdered, Hercule Poirot arrives to unravel the mystery.
As secrets surface, suspicion spreads across the household. Is the culprit a family member, a trusted servant, or an unexpected guest? With help from Captain Hastings and Inspector Japp, Poirot must uncover the truth before it’s too late.

🎭 Casting Notes
- The role of Hercule Poirot is being reprised by the actor from Albright Theatre’s 2023 production of Murder on the Orient Express
- All other roles are open for casting
- All characters use an English accent, except Dr. Carelli, who uses a light Italian accent

Sir Claud Amory – Brilliant scientist obsessed with innovation and atomic theory
Aunt Caroline Amory – Traditional, proper, and devoted to classic British ideals
