Faith, Hope & Love: History – Marking Women of Our Time
Singer, actress and worship leader Vikki J. Myers will debut the revival of her acclaimed one-woman show, “Faith, Hope & Love: History Making Women of Our Time,” a free performance at the St. Charles Public Library intimate 75-seat Carnegie Community Room on March 28th.
Myers created “Faith, Hope & Love” to pay tribute women who have not only impacted her life, but who have also been credited with changing the course of history. The 60-minute show spotlights a diverse group of 10 faith-inspired women who made their mark over three centuries. Notable figures include Mahalia Jackson, Rosa Parks, and Mother Teresa are among the women Myers portrays as she creatively weaves drama, humor and music. She will be accompanied by Garlan Garner, musical director of Kingdom Impact Theater Ministries (KIT Ministries).
