He grew up in Geneva and graduated with the Class of 2000. Shortly after college\, he met Sarah. Together they chose Batavia as the place to build their life and become part of the local community. \nOver the years\, their love for the area has grown into a passion for helping others. Joe and Sarah both volunteer at the Batavia Food Pantry\, where Joe has also served as a board member for more than 10 years. \nThis year is especially exciting for the organization. After many years of searching\, the Batavia Food Pantry has found its permanent home on First Street in Batavia. The new location will provide stability\, dignity\, and expanded access for the families who rely on its services. \nTo celebrate this milestone\, Joe and Sarah are teaming up with one of their favorite local businesses\, Chi-Cuterie in Geneva. Owners Michelle and Robert are generously hosting the event while Joe and Sarah step behind the bar. \nEven better\, 100% of the tips will be donated to the Batavia Food Pantry. \nThis time of year is especially important for food pantries. A few months after the holidays\, donations and supplies often begin to slow down. The 60-minute show spotlights a diverse group of 10 faith-inspired women who made their mark over three centuries. Notable figures include Mahalia Jackson\, Rosa Parks\, and Mother Teresa are among the women Myers portrays as she creatively weaves drama\, humor and music. She will be accompanied by Garlan Garner\, musical director of Kingdom Impact Theater Ministries (KIT Ministries).
